Word from AnimeNewsNetwork bring news that Naruto has been picked up by ShoPro, who will attempt to sell the series to an American distributor. ShoPro is a company which is going to soon merge with Viz. Viz as many know are the licensor of the manga. Viz generally treat their anime well, so hopefully this will end up being a good partnership. Viz also has been getting their anime placed on Cartoon Network, which should bode well for it getting a wide release to U.S. audiences.

I should probably point out the Spoiler system for new visitors. Over on the left hand side of the page, we have a three tiered color system for spoiler amounts. Anime-only watchers and new readers of the series should only visit the Green areas, and those who don’t mind some medium spoilers can visit the Orange areas. The latest Japanese manga release readers should only be the ones going into the Red areas, for they include all manner of future story spoilers.

I still plan on announcing when I’ve made updates to the site. But instead of letting you know of one to two things I’ve added. I’m going to hold off however, instead announcing a bunch in one news post. You will still be able to catch if new stuff has been added though. I plan on adding minor content updates over to the “Latest Content” box on the right hand side of the page. Once quite a few of those rack up over there, I’ll post them in a full news post and then clear out the box to start again.

Episode 121 has aired in Japan today. This episode continues the fight between Akamaru and Kiba against Sakon and Ukon.
