interesting chapter. these war fillers would probably work well with the anime but it sure is dragging the manga too much.
what i wanted to see is how naruto’s doing with his training during all these battles. i hope there’s more to the kyuubi’s chakra than having additional arms, moving very fast and that bijuu ball. all the other bijuu’s can do that. and that won’t work on madara, he’ll just use izanagi on it and the effects would be as if nothing happened. even his father can use his time-space jutsu and teleport it. with what naruto has shown so far, i don’t think that would be enough to bring madara down. sure, his sage mode was enough for pain but it would take more than that to defeat madara especially now that the guy has the rinnegan.
there’s got to be more to the kyuubi’s chakra. even the kyuubi sensed the rikudou’s essence from him when he got it (that’s probably the first, since if that’s the effect of obtaining his chakra, he wouldn’t be suprised and should have seen it on mito and kushina). my guess is, he will have a chance of talking with the rikudou sennin just like his parents.

Darui’s name itself sounds like how I’d imagine Japanese people pronounce the english word “dull”. It’s kind of like a pun in a way. Anyways, I’m glad that Darui didn’t get sucked up after all, though I guess he still can’t say “dull”. He’s becoming one of my favorite characters.
This reanimated army is an amazing idea on Kishimoto’s part. We can see some really amazing battles and more of the potential of the shinobi of the Naruto universe. I guess the filler arcs in the anime hold some truth after all; I remember we were complaining that Naruto was the only 9-tails Jinchuuriki after the introduction of Sora, but now we have two more canon ones, and they can go into the 9-Tails mode!

What’s the deal here, Kinkaku has the mode 2 cloak form? WITH AT LEAST SIX TAILS!!!! what the heck, he’s a more complete jinchuuriki than Naruto the REAL Ninetails jinchuuriki, since control of the Bijuu’s power is dependant on theit hearts, wouldn’t bad guys ne naturally incapable of controlling the Ninetail’s evil energy, it should take over their minds without a problem!

Speaking of bijuu chakra blast, how do Yondaime learned the Rasengan? if Killer Bee states that only bijuu can execute the technique?…anyway, i am amaze those characters like Darui as he has Kekkei Genkai the Storm Element(Ranton)…hope there’s a lot more new forms of elements coming to exist! especially Kekkei Touta(Bloodline Expansion)…wait! how about Wax Element…kishimoto? and if you could please bring Guren back to the real story, she has a unique Bloodline…Crystal Element(Shouton)!

I agree with the second poster; in a war, the good guys don’t always get to win…
Anyway, Darui is becoming the epitome of cool in my book 😉
