I just wanted to reflect on how wonderful a time to it is to be an anime fan.
I got a notification on my mobile @ 4:00 am PST that Naruto was available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Instead of going to Limewire to start a 2 hour download (like the old days of Naruto Season 1) of a crappy quality version, I turned on my 55″ TV, which has a Roku box with Cruncyroll connected to it. I streamed 245 in 1080p, and it was awesome.
This is a golden era.

@Opr8r well there are some good torrents on the subbers web site does not take me more than 12-30 minutes to download a normal or 720p version of an episode.

It was brilliant ^^

@ Koross
That’s probably true. The last torrent site I used was DB and they had some pretty good quality files, relatively quickly.
I guess my point is that compared to the early days of Naruto, things are pretty awesome now.
Also, when I was torrenting Naruto I justified it by saying there was no reasonable alternative. I think it makes a lot of sense to support Crunchyroll now.

@OPR8R Yeah, I use streamed version when I can not spend the time downloading but I prefer high res so when I know things are going down I torrent it. But hey it is not released where I am so I have a good reason to torrent it.Sort of. But you have the right idea. Good that some do that.

@Korss
I hope it makes it to you, where ever you live. It looks like they’re starting to stream more and more in 1080p. That can’t be beat.
