   two tails = nekomata = cat = darkness
   three tails = isonade = shark = water
   four tails = sokou = rooster = poison
   five tails = houkou = dog = illusions
   six tails = raijuu = weasel = lightning
   seven tails = kaku = badger = earth
   eight tails =yamata no orochi= snake = devil
   nine tails = kyuubi no youko = fox = fire

   came from different mytholgies but might give an idea about the bijuu

   Shikamaru, u put Chapter 281 under Volume 31, making it 10 chapters in this volume… while usually there are only 9 in one. I’m just wondering how you know the number of chapters there are gonna be in specific volumes~

   I don’t know precisely, just seemed like the better place to put it since the arc just ended. There have been a couple ten chapter volumes in the past. When this volume comes out I’ll adjust accordingly if I’m wrong.

   did gaara even lose his bijuu cause it never actually said if he did but it gave many hints that he did im not sure about this?

    He lost the bijuu but he had probably sand jutsus of his own . Shukaku was only providing some energy and more sand for Gaara ‘ use

    your eyes mustd decive you for that is not poor imageing. those dots there are clearly sand. why else would naruto appear supprsed there for looking at his hand for in panel 3 for, huh?

    I believe that Gaara is able to use sand with his own chakra, but there is a limit to what he can do without Shukaku, If you look at Naruto’s expression, he looks at his hand and is surprised. It makes more sense that he is seeing the sand move his hand, as Gaara wants to shake hands with him. Everyone still thinks at this point that Gaara is a bit antisocial, but only those closest to him (ie. Kankuro) actually know that he is changing. That is probably why Naruto didn’t shake his hand in the first place, and thus makes it more of a surprise to him that Gaara is urging him on to shake his hand, as a sign of friendship between the two.

    Also, if I might add, the image that narutard gave us the link to was editted by someone who probably thought the sand was poor imaging. If you look at the sound effect as Naruto’s hand is being moved, it says ‘gui.’ With Japanese sound effects, ‘gui’ is usually the sound that is made when something is grabbed. In this instance, the sand grabbing Naruto’s hand.
