wow nice chapter but really did not explain much. seemed rushed but not complaining this is a long flashback. where is the OSCARS WRAP IT UP MUSIC when you need it.

@foxking it didn’t explain a lot but it did answer some questions. We now know how the change between Hashirama and Madara started, with Izuna being threatened. We know it was Tobirama who killed Izuna and he willingly gave his eyes to his brother (at least we can assume that). Overall it’s a cool chapter. Let’s hope for no more breaks anytime soon lol

Awesome new naruto chapter on my Bday can’t ask for much more :p. As for 2 i think ur right in that its safe to say izuna did willing give madara is eyes. Also i’m really curious to know what the first decision is because i mean we know he doesnt kill madara himself or the 2nd. So what choice could he have made that satifised all parties involved. Another thing something i’ve been really wondering if the uchiha and senju fought so much and so much blood was spilled between them how have not more uchiha awakened their ms. I mean imagine if even half of all the uchiha had a ms while fighting the senju i think the tide of battle would have been much different.

Nice chapter. Maybe a bit rushed, but then you have ppl who complain about long flashbacks.Madara Sharingan awakening mirrors sasukes 3rd tomoe appearing.
As we all know Hash did NOT kill tobi, how madara finally relented is hard to guess, other than his clan pressuring him. Also, this chap makes it sound like izuna gave up his eyes at his deathbed, nothing to do with madaras weakened eyesight because the 1st time we see madara with EMS, Izuna is dead. Madara is such a whiner btw. Has a chance to save his brother. . . but refuses the hand of friendship. But then again, so is hashi. How the senjuu manage to let madara live after this is baffling.

Itachi said that Sasuke had the potential to awaken the MS so with that being said, I think it takes a talented Uchiha to awaken the MS. I know Obito got the MS after experiencing the death of Rin but don’t forget he had senju DNA in him so that might have helped.

he its funny how alike madara and sasuke are both trying to kill there best friends and how naruto and the 1st hokage are alike by trying to save there best friends then again they are all connected

8) idk if id call hashirama and madara best friends i mean ya their bith similar to naruto and sasuke but they really only met together for a short time before they started fighting

@10 no we still dont know how the first dies. Its safe to say he wont die right now because he still has his big fight with madara to come and also he surrives long enough to put the kyubbi into his wife so ya. also @6 well kakashi awakened the ms at the same time so im thinking he always had the talent to awaken it and i dont think the senju helped only really just to agument and acclerate his capibilitys.

Instead of killing himself or his brother, Hashirama does some kind of medical cell transfer to heal Madara and let him live. hoping that would be enough for him to trust him. That would explain why or how he lived so damn long. maybe..

@12 the reason he was able to live so long was because he was feeding off the charka of the gedo statue. i think his loophole will be that he does nothing. He is just gonna walk away from his proposal and then send in one of those defector uchiha into the clans ranks and spread the word of peace that we already knows eventually forces madara to accept the peace plan.

Hmm.. Maybe because of this proposal Edo Tensei was created..? Think about it, Hashirama isn’t going to kill himself or Tobirama, so what if he instead offered to help bring back Izuna some how? I personally don’t believe so but i also wouldnt be suprised if this was how Edo Tensei was created. Just food for thought

Its going to end up as a tag team match naruto and hashirama vs madara and sasuke o.O im wondering what could it be that hashirama decided to do… I think madara is just gonna give up on his clan and go rogue from there on which in result the senju get together with the uchiha since they have no head clan member o.O

according to the bio on this sight kyubbi is sealed during the first fashback fight. I was wondering if they are going to show us that.

I think that Hashi will sacrifice himself. Then when he is on the verge of killing himself, at the last second, Madara stops him, and the village is formed.

It makes sense that they didn’t show Izuna’s death, since it’s Hashirama telling the story and he wasn’t there for it.

This chapter did explain several things you guys.
1. Obito lied big time towards Sasuke about Madara’s past. Either he didn’t know the true story, or he lied purposely.
2. The reason why Tobirama has such an attitude towards Hashirama is simple too. If my brother would put the life of his mortal enemy before his family, I’d act the same way Tobirama does.
3. We know Tobirama was the one who killed Izuna. The Senju killed every brother Madara had. I would be doubting a truce as well, it would be backstabbing them in their graves.
4. The foundation of Konoha took very long considering this chapter.

@mystic u make some very good points I mean I can totally understand where madara is coming from I mean u would make a truce with someone who killed ur whole family I highly doubt it. Also @lonewolf we know the lead was the first ninja village created and it was done so by the two strongest clans forming an alliance under one country. My guess is that once other countries and clans saw this they decided to put aside their petty grievances that had splintered them for so long and unite in order to face this powerful new foe. Because if they had remained separate there would be no way any one clan could stop the combined might of the senju and uchiha

@22 why did Athens and Sparta fight? Why did Britian and France fight? Why did Iraq and Iran fight? All for the same reasons money, power, land, prestige, resources, and revenge. The senju and uchiha are probably no different. It doesn’t help either that their descendents of the two sons of the sage of six path both with some problems of their own which while not so relevent now in days is probably the original catylist for the fighting between the two clans.

Madara’s ultimatum is probably why Hashirama said that Itachi was a better shinobi than himself because Hashirama couldn’t bring himself to kill his brother or himself.

Do you mean his trust to kill Izuna?
Tobirama was known for his S/T jutsu so it is not completely out of the picture.
