This chapter is 5/5.obito stole the show.i like how minato used his sage mode.as for kakashi’s kamui,that jutsu is unbeatable.hope obito will save naruto and sadly with didn’t see mysterious man.

Narutos talk-no-justsu had a delayed effect but super effective xD I didn’t even connect black zetsu as the same principles of the omnyoudon! This will be fun n.n I’m seeing very little hope for Naruto tho, now that Minato has lost both arms he can’t perform any seals smh I wonder who else knows Uzumaki style jutsu, hmmmm Maybe the 1st but he’s all scarecrow now. Oh ND what happened to Kakashis Kamui? He was using it on Obito?

I wonder if the mystery person was possibly Kushina? Any thoughts on that? And I didn’t know minato could use sage mode. This next battle is going to be intense!

Got to hand it to obito, I didn’t think that he would be able to break black zetsu’s control on him, especially in his state. I wonder if he will be able to take complete control and force black zetsu to give back the kyuubi. Also, did you guys notice on the last page, obito had the same rod that he had when he was the jinchuriki? How did that happen exactly

My thoughts..
1. Obito is taking some of so6p power from Madara..
2. Will use that power to give to naruto..
3. So6p tools will be used to seal madara..

At 6, because black zetsu is made of Ying yang chakra, and since obito was able to manipulate that chakra (omnyoudon) he managed to turn black zetsu into his staff smh but thts pretty cool tho, cuz if he uses too much of black zetsu to fight madara well then he’s dead! Since zetsu is the only one keeping him alive smh but I love the concept!

You know the way I figure it they could explain this simply by saying how much a genius monatomic was I mean think about it he got to the level of madara and hashirama (not saying he’s stronger but he’s top 10 in my opinion) and didn’t live even half as long they could simply say that this is an example of how amazing he was he literally just saw it and mastered it he obviously understood the concept of senjutsu cause of jiraiya and the second so it’s conceiveble that he simply never got a chance to do it and throughout this battle he did and just like that mastered it you know I mean it’s a stretch but it would make perfect sense too

It was already clear that Minato mastered Sage Mode. 1. When Naruto signed the blood contract with the toads Minato’s name was also on the scroll. 2. When Naruto fought Pain in Sage Mode, Naruto reminded him of both Jiraiya and Minato. Since Fukasaku knew Minato well enough to be reminded of him, he must have taught him Senjutsu as well.
Too bad Minato became rather useless now. He was portrayed as this legendary Hokage who saved the Village from the Kyuubi since the start of the series. But this war downgraded him as a character for me. I have sympathy for him, for the wrong reason. He is not the awesome shinobi anymore he was supposed to be.

My guess is that Obito is still able to control the Juubi chakra because he too carries Senju and Uchiha DNA and has one Rinnegan eye left. Therefor he is able to absorb it’s chakra and regain his former physique.
Now that we are certain that Black Zetsu carries the other half of Kurama, I wonder how Naruto can regain consciousness? My guess is that Obito will use the chakra he absorbs to use Rinne Tensei again to bring back Naruto. Whoever is near Sasuke will either heal him or try to kill him, that’s for sure. And let’s not forget the person inside Spiral Zetsu.

@15 minato still seems pretty legendary. He stopped an assault of 1000 stone shinobi by himself, bested the fourth raikage, prevented the kyuubi from destroying the hidden leaf village, and is the fastest shinobi to date.

Minato sacrifice his life sealing the kyuubi because he thought there was no mokuton user or someone with a mangekyou sharingan.who else misses neji? I hope next chapter obito will return minato’s arm and use rinne rebirth jutsu.so he can die as a good man

Tobirama is actually the fastest shinobi to date, and Mistic_Vegeta means that Minato’s usefulness in this war has not lived up to what he is actually capable of doing. To me it looks as if Hashirama, Tobirama, Sarutobi, & Minato’s power has been toned down dramatically for this war. They have been pretty much useless in this war regardless of them being revived at full power if you ask me. But it wouldn’t be a good story if the shinobi alliance was overpowered.

That may be so, but that’s exactly part of the problem. All the moments Minato is legendary for built him up as this superstrong Hokage, who is now set aside as if it were childsplay.
The only explanation I can give is the reason Madara wanted a body. He himself stated that Edo Tensei limits the power of a body. And with power, I don’t mean chakra. It’s also stated that Hashirama and Tobirama can’t fight to their fullest because of this. Maybe it’s the same for Minato. But that still should not be a reason for him to be easily disarmed like this.

Mystic Vegeta- Duude! I totally forgot about Obito being able to use the powers of the rinnegan to absorb, so he still has a dog in this fight! 😀 thts pretty cool, but dude Minato is living up to his legend!! He’s saved this alliance countless times ND was a key factor in taking down obito, I mean he’s the beez kneez!!

@K-dash actually minato is the fastest shinobi to date, the second himself said that when minato got to the battlefield first, plus minato is the one who improved the seconds jutsu all together.

I would like to agree on the fact that edo body is prolly not as good as real body, having said that I think the problem with hokages is that they firstly did not go all out offensively but went 50:50 defense and offense, secondly I would say they got outplayed not out powered as you could see with Minato loosing his arm, he did not expect that to happen with his edo form, also bad luck, most of us are so used to main characters having so much luck and now that has become a norm and madara just kicks ass

For everbody saying that the hokages arent living up to their legendary status i think they are because they are did battle the juubi then obito as the jinchuriki. Now they have to fight madara who basically jus went God-Mode , i think they’re doing their best

Haven’t posted in awhile. I like everyone’s post. To me it’s not so much the Hokage being downplayed but more so the power of the Shinju and Madara really just out shining everything else. But I gotta give props to Obito for taking advantage of Black Zetsu and using the Rinnegan to take some juubi power. Also to whoever said Obito needs to be careful not to overuse BZ, remember he has juubi chakra and Yin Kurama is inside BZ so if Obito can manage to keep BZ attached to him he is not gonna die. Matter of fact that might have been BZ mistake. Had he not absorbed Kurama Obito might not have woken up.

I think we are missing something when it comes to BZ I think his thinking has also been changed. when he asked obito you are Mada and he answered not yet.
