@TheNarutoFan: Because this is the first part of the exam. In the last Chunin Exams they had a written test aswell, remember when they were in the exam room with all the guys watching them including the proctor.

They’ll get to fighting in the 2nd and 3rd parts of the exam.

@#3: I’d guess something where Chakra is being warped and distorted to weed out those that think its easy and using some simple method.

I don’t know but it seemed way too easy for some of the teams to get in contact.
