For those of you who bought Rise of a Ninja for Xbox 360 or were holding off buying it because you were waiting on the Japanese language option, you’ll be happy to know that Ubisoft has now made that download available for free on Xbox Live. I just tried it out, and all the characters appear to have their original Japanese voices.

This improves the game greatly, as unfortunately the English language track does not feature all the original dub actors. This proves a distraction when cutting between animated clips and ingame audio. The character will have their voice actor in the clip, but the game character will have a completely different voice actor. This addition bumps our review score of the game from a 7 to an 8. And with more downloadable content on the horizon, hopefully this score will keep going up.
