I really don’t know what the truth is. However, there is something that I cant understand. Why in the blue hell would Madara, Itachi’s enemy want Sasuke to know the the truth about Itachi. I mean doesn’t it seem absurd. If he didn’t Sasuke would have joined him no problem

excellent chapter! can’t wait to see what happens next! I always knew sasuke would get MS eventually. I’m getting a feeling Itachi was forced or manipulated to help wipe out his clan.

i don’t think that itach kill all the uchiha.
i thing it was madara did it.
itack maybe tried to stop him.
thats why he tried to be more powerfull.
then he make sasuke to hate him so that saske will grown more powerfull that him.

xcorruptedxperfectionx is totally correct. not only the series has been out of focus, it’s getting more and more ridiculous. If Kishi ran out of ideas, then he must think of a better way to conclude all the complications that he’s raised in here. a justified ending would be enough.

maybe itachi killed the entire clan because otherwise madara would destroy konoha or something.
jiraya can’t be dead because he needs to tell the truth about him being the gidfather an about his parents.
the kyubi should agree to lend his powers.
and naruto should controll his emotions a little better.
if itachi is a hero doesn’t that make sasuke really bad if it’s the truth then he is going to feel like crap. maybe then he will return to konoha.

amazing! whatever itachi did in the past, killed his clan members, joined with akatsuki and tried to destroy konoha, he still love his brother with gave his own sharingan at least before he…(well)passed away…

It’s like Kakashi said to Sasuke almost three years ago revenge will only bring him more hurting and suffering then he was then. If he did successed it will bring him emptiness. Sasuke should be happy but in the pass two chapters we can see what Kakashi said was true. Now he knows and it will cost him in the end from gaining power that he seek from Orochimaru.
Unlike others I like where Kishimoto is going with the story. You see what revenge could do to one person and I think Kishi is giving a bigger message to use about revenge in general if one seeks it. It’s like you have to look in the in-between from past volumes to see the full picture now even though it’s still cloudy.
I can’t wait to see what unfolds in two weeks in the manga. But at least we get to see one hour special Naruto Shippuuden this week to make it up. ^_^

Sasuke can’t have eternal mangekyou sharingan. Itachi said that Madara and Madara’s brother both unleashed the mangekyou sharingan at the same time. Then Madara killed his brother because he was going blind. That’s how he got the eternal mangekyou sharingan. Sasuke hasn’t unleashed his own mangekyou sharingan before reciving Itachi’s. Sasuke can only subconsciously Itachi’s mangekyou sharingan when he sees Madara’s sharingan. And onther thing Kakashi didn’t learn the Rasengan from the Naruto’s father. He copied it after seeing Naruto use the jutsu.

I thought that amaterasu comes from the right mangekyu eye according to the doujutsu section. How come when Sasuke uses it, it came from his left eye? i’m just curious.

You know, I’ve noticed something. The wrinkles on Madara’s eyes makes me think he’s one of those old guys dressed in a full body suit. Like, a old batman or something. I don’t know, just something about him makes me amused.

Kishi is really giving us something to think about. I guess Madara showed Itachi how to transfer his mangekyou, which seems to react to other sharingans. How in the world did the entire Uchiha Clan get wiped put by 1-2 people? How does Itachi just touch Sasuke and now he has Mangekyou? One more thing, maybe someone can answer this. I thought earlier it said Tsukuyomi was in the left eye, not Amaterasu.

As for people saying Sasuke has gotten a power boost, I agree. But, remember Naruto’s new method of training. He can get a year’s worth of training done within about 3 days. If Kishi remember’s this, he should be on equal terms with Sasuke very soon. I know Im ready for him to find out about Jiraiya and the 4th being his father. This prolongage is getting annoying. Sasuke’s had 3 fights since they really showed Naruto. Im so tired of seeing this traitor it isn’t even funny.

hey naruto I dont know if you’ve heard of a haircut but madara could’ve gotten one, and a itachi gaiden would be pretty cool, but i think i’d rather have a jiraiya gaiden to see what he did on his long journey

sasuke is not going to come back to team up with Naruto. there are two reasons why.
1. The moment he saw Naruto’s clone he destroyed it with Chidori thinking it was the real Naruto and he did it without a second thought. He has become truly evil.
2. Even if he did come back he would get a punishment or probably even get killed because he is a missing-nin from Konoha.
those are just my opinions and we just gotta see what Kishimoto is up to.

To momment on resensheriken. 103.The truth is susake isn’t an evil character. 1 Remember when oro asked why susake why he didn’t kill all those ninjas? Susakes reply was i don’t kill if I don’t have to
2 For the record when susake killed narutos clone with chidori he knew it was a clone. He had his sharingan on at the time, not to mention he was on his way to fight his brother.the other thing is that susake isn’t that much stronger then naruto. We have to keeps inmind we haven’t seen what naruto can do.

Kakashi didn’t copy the Rasengan from Naruto. That is very dumb to state. The Forth, the creator of the jutsu, was his teacher. Kakashi talks about how he nor The Forth were able to add an elemental nature to it. Kakashi tried to add lightning and couldn’t. Unfortunatly The Forth didn’t have enough time to finish the jutsu. Read chap 321 of the manga it is apparent that Kakashi was taught the rasengan.
Lets please stop being silly children and think before we speak. There should be a pic of Shika in his thinking pose to remind us that we need to use common sense before we post.

Kakashi cant of copied naruto’s rasengan because it doesnt use any hand seals or else sasuke would have copied it as well

Ath’s Theory (Part 1): Itachi had this all planned out since day one. He told Sasuke to “obtain the same eyes as him” to make Sasuke stronger. He was hoping that after he told Sasuke about the brother-to-brother eye transfer option, that Sasuke would take Itachis eyes after his death and use their power to kill Madara. He wiped out the Uchiha clan to gain Madaras trust, and to obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan so that he could one day allow Sasuke to take them to achieve ultimate power. Upon realizing that Sasuke didn’t obtain the Mangekyou, he used a last ditch effort and transfered all of his eye powers to Sasuke and is hoping that his powers will fuse with Sasuke’s to gain the same powers as Madara. We’ve already seen that Sasuke can resist the Tsukuyomi and now use Amaterasu, thus he has already surpassed the powers of the normal Mangekyou, so all thats left is the final stage. And for the Naruto/Sasuke fight, Naruto will unlock further powers of the nine-tailed fox, and eventually fuse it’s chakra with his own power. Since Naruto will become fused with the fox, and hopefully obtain dominence, Sasuke will no longer have any control over the fox. Thus leading to a climactic battle between the two lovers (yes, there in love. Look for the proof) and they will either end up in a stale-mate, or Sasuke will die. (We already know that in the up-in-comming 4th Naruto movie, Naruto dies then and that Sasuke isnt featured in the movie… He was probably killed before that).

Okay, Sasuke doesn not have the Mangekyou. Itachi just made Sasuke a ‘Trap’ so when Madara’s and his eyes met, it would trigger the trap and initiate the Amaterasu. It was a one time thing! Madara even said so!

Sasuke is powerfull but naruto has those damn clones, a lot of chakra, a mysterious key, quick training ability and a lot of endurance.
Oh and he never gives up. All sasuke’s abilities seem to make them(uchihas) use too much chakra.

I still can’t understand what makes everyone thing that Sasuke now has MS.It’s not a properly functioning MS for the following reasons:
1)The Amaterasu came from the left,not the right eye.
2)Even Itachi had to make a hand seal for the Amaterasu.
3)The MS was active only during the time Madara had his mask off,meaning it only activates in sight of Madara’s sharingan.
In other words it’s just a trap or even better a failsafe(JUST AS THE MANGA CLEARLY STATES)

Even though Itachi passed only his eye techinques to Sasuke, we have no idea as to what extent. For all we know, he could use both of the two main MS jutsu from one eye. It may even evolve and become Sasuke’s new Mangekyou Sharingan. And considering it’s Itachi, I wouldn’t be surprised if he found a way to pass more then just his techniques to Sasuke. Itachi was no fool, I’m sure he understood that Madara knew way more then him about the Sharingan, therefor he may have spent alot of time searching for a stratgy that Madara would over look. I also trust that Itachi would plan furhter ahead then a one-time trap to try and kill Madara. Does anyone really think that Itachi would be so naive as to only make one back-up plan to kill Madara?

no i think he wont go blind cause he didn’t get them the normal way so normal blindness rules don’t apply cause i think itachi was thinking off a way to pass on the techniques to (according to madara the brother itachi wanted to protect) sasuke without giving the negative things blindness on the top of the list

i agree with you that itachi’s act is indeed noble.k even kakashi is noble. but i dont think what they did is better than what obito did for kakashi… it is nothing compared to what the 3rd did when he tried to seal Oro… but it is so degrading to say that it is better than the greatest sacrifice of all, the sacrifice of the 4th for the sake of the village…

Ok…ok…i get it now,Itachi was basically testing Sasuke in his own way to seeif he was worthy of Magenkyo…So he went full force…if sasuke wasn’t ready he would of takin his eyes and killed Madara himself…But sasuke wins and Itachis gives him Magenkyo… but now sasuke has to get the it in the other eye… Plus maybe madara wants Sasuke to join his cause of taking over the world..because if he felt that Sasuke was a threat he would have killed him on the spot…well just have to wait and see >>>GO SASUKE

Itachi is a dang softie…but that doesn’t change the fact he killed so many people…he’s still my favorite character.
