That was a buetiful chapter, I loved that itachi was a spy working for konoha elders, and that there was dicrimination against the uchiha. Story is getting really good but I still want to see development in Naruto and families past. Still it was a great chapter and thats all we can ask for.

After 2 weeks waiting, we have more questions than the answers we were waiting for…
Why Sasuke was kept a live and was aloud to become a genin and participate in the chunnin exams??

All I can say is I’m so rubbing this in my boyfriends face. No matter how much I told him Itachi wasn’t evil, he wouldn’t believe me. The hints are there ALL through the manga if you look closely enough. Personally I do think Madara might be warping the truth a little, if Itachi implanted the MK-trigger in Sasuke to ‘protect’ him from Madara he must have had a reason. And with the current state of having his mind tossed in a washing machine and then engaging in intimate relationships with hammers and nailbats, Sasuke’s going to be a lot easier to manipulate because of it.

Wow the story line is getting awsome and Itachi was the good guy all along but he also spied on his own clan. I just wonder what would have happend if Itachi didn’t kill the uchiha would there have been a uprising? But then again I think Konaha had Itachi kill his own clan in order to prevent the uprising.

Great chapter but madara’s point that the kyuubi was a natural disaster was against itachi and jiraiya’s premonition that the kyuubi was summoned by madara himself. Also, madara need to explain why he helped itachi to exterminate the uchiha clan. Is it because of the disloyalty of the clan towards him? or hidden loyalties to konoha? The intrigue is exciting and can’t wait for the next chapter!

just to put it out there i think those 3 danzo,the old lady and old man are really uchiha or half uchiha they always hide there eyes and that lady has some weird eye technique we saw in the episode when the guy was blowing up stuff

this was the best chapter (in my opionon) to come out in a while i mean now we know that madara brother willing killed himself and the oringal battle at the valley of end. great chapter

A couple of chapters back I predicted that Itachi was really a good guy, I said I thought that he was really an undercover agent and come to find out he was. Another thing if Madaras brother willingly gave up his eyes then why didn’t they just switch eyes with each other, then they both would’ve had eternal mangekyou. Storyline is good so far Kishi just needs to stop jumping from one to the next leaving us hanging, I still don’t understand who Pain is. Other than that learning about Konohas past is a great thing can’t wait ’till next chapter.

all i want to say is that the first must have been some kind of UBER-ninja to take on the Eternal Mangekyou and the nine-tails by himsef and win. how’s that for deux ex machina. I’m really starting to think that all the modern ninja are week compared to the older ones due to some type of ninja inbreeding.

OK wanna hear my presupposition(PURE FAN FICTION,I’m not family member of Kishimoto :)…
Itachi never did “realy killed” the entire uchiha clan…insted using Susanoo(taught to him by Madara) he used the blade of totsuka to seal away the soul of the entire uchiha clan,so akatsuki’s real goal is using the rinengan(which as we saw in the “rescue Gaara” arc can create fake bodies) and collecting all tailed beasts,is to remove the seal and restore the entire uchiha clan to cursh Konoha just when they thought the caln is gone…
And then again I’m huge Uchiha fan boy so this is PURE FAN FICTION…

And Konoha deserves it!! for ordering the hit on the uchiha’s, they are responbile for the deaths of children. even is Madara is lying in some ways. Danzo is guilty he tried to kill sasuke when Tsunade ordered team kakashi to bring him back, he was trying to keep sasuke from learning the truth. So Konoha and the Uchiha’s or guilty

I think Konoha is evil…Cuz they’re scared of Uchiha’s power! If it wasnt 4 Madara’s clan overruling him…He would have either denied the truce or have been hokage…But the clan was stupid 4 that! Madara was being smart! But NO! They had 2 betray Madara which forced him 2 betray Konoha…Cuz he knew the Senju would wipe out the Uchiha Clan…I think Madara is more righteous 2 protect his clan then 2 be against them…But wat I dont understand is y did he help Itachi kill them all?

We still cant think Madara is a good guy because Madara did help Itachi that night…He should have help th Uchiha Clan and brought down Konoha…I am so confused…

And. the attack on konoha by kyubi was from madara because remember back when itachi was talking about controlling the kyubi with a sharingan so it prob. was madara who was sending the kyubi to attack konoha

One thing I’d like to add…
If all of Madara’s accusations were true, then the sacrifice of the fourth Hokage on saving Konoha is worthless- an idea which is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

But thats the thing….His clan was agianst Madara and shunned him out as well…They thought about him as being greedy and a horrible person because they said “Who would hamr they’re own brother?” But in reality Madara’s younger brother gave him his eyes 4 the good of the clan but it seems the rest of the clan didn’t appreciate the help of they’re leader and left him out…4 that reason I have sympathy 4 Madara cuz he was trying 2 protect his clan not get them killed…But the clan wouldn’t listen…And look what happened the clan is wiped out and only Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Sasuke are left…

Madara’s thirst for power and revenge was what led his people to turn their collective backs on him. To me it just sounds like issues with bigotted old farts and a major breakdown in communication. Madara is just mad and bitter, and its starting to show through this trip through memory lane. Good read so far Kishi-san

I wonder if Itachi decide to kill off the uchihas on his own because never had the power to do it untill he killed his best friend and not too long after that he killed them all. So did he decide to do it then since he have the MS or did the elders told them.

this chapter was really good. once again more questions have arise rather than answers…the plot just gets thicker and thicker. i think itachi had to kill his bestfriend so he could use his newfound power to destroy the clan.

this episode was good but i want to see naruto training he looks like a loser compare to sasuke. wat did he learn all that time been with Jiraya.
