Great cover, one of the best so far in the whole series. 🙂
By the way, those white lines aren’t the sunshine but light rain falling over them (I can say since some lines are behind them, while sunshine wouldn’t be drawn like that).
The way Kishimoto used rain as a symbol in this illustration is great!

Whoa, this cover is absolutely amazing. I love the marker (I assume to be markers, copics or something of the sorta) coloring, as opposed to the more usual hard-shell coloring of the other volumes.
Plus the scene with Jiraiya and Naruto is so sweet it makes my heart swell.

I don’t like. It doesn’t fit in with the rest of the covers. I like the way the other ones were drawn, and the white background made it stand out more. Hopefully they’ll go back to their old style for Volume 43, which better have Itachi and Sasuke on it.
