Various bits about Naruto games coming out of the E3 Conference.

Xbox 360: Naruto: The Broken Bond Impressions, Gameplay Videos

PS3: Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Impressions

Also word that a demo for Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 for Wii includes new playabale characters Asuma and Kurenai. A demo character select screen also seems to show that Uzuki Yuugao and Baki are in the game. The select screen also featured several ANBU and two other unknown characters, possibly tied into the story mode. It’s unclear if these are merely place holders images or if they will in fact be playable. The total character count for the game is said to 35 characters, with some possible alternate versions (Naruto, Sasuke) included in that number.

I hate to say it but the PS3 game looks amazing. I have a 360 and the PS3 game looks like it will be the better of the two.

Ultimate Ninja Storm blows all almost all of the other Naruto games out of the water. I mean that this game is made by CC2 and this is the sixth Naruto game they’re makeing while this is Ubiersoft’s second and it looks like a clone of the first one with more characters.

can’t wait for that wii game. no zabuza or sound5 this time, but those new characters are actually exciting to me.

The PS3 one may look better but the gameplay of the 360 looks amazing. So far it has been established that you can form three man groups on missions and each player will have important roles in getting around. eg. A warning appears that there is danger you switch to Neji use Byakugan and can see that there are traps. Compared to that of the PS3 which so far i have just seen hem fighting

Played it. Loved it. This is the best thing to happen to Naruto VGs in a long while.
