I’ve been getting questions and yelled at about the stats on the site. “Naruto is so much better than those stats, you should update them!” Believe me, I would like to, but the stats aren’t made up by me, they come from the official databooks which are released every two years or so. The last databook only had stats through the end of part one. The next databook should have stats through around now in the manga. There is no official release date for databook 3, I would guess it would hit sometime this summer. Once it is released, I will add/update the bio stats to reflect this new skill level. Until that time, please stop complaining that I’m not giving the characters enough credit. Also if you want to see what the stats mean, please click on the statgram. It explains all this stuff.

Word by way of Toonzone, at the New York Comic Con Viz announced that the first Naruto boxed will be released July 4, 2006. The set includes the first 13 episodes on 3 DVDs, with complete English and Japanese language soundtracks and several extras which have not been released in the U.S. or Japan.

3-15-06 Episode 176: Zig Zag Run! Chase, Chased, Mistaken
3-22-06 Episode 177: OH?! Please, Mister Postman
3-29-06 Episode 178: Encounter, The Boy Named “Hoshi”

Episode 179 was figured to be the start of the Kakashi Gaiden, but the title for 178 certainly does not sound like a title pointing to the end of the first part of the series. Hopefully that means 179 will incorporate the last few bits that were in the last normal manga chapter, before Kakashi Gaiden officially begins.

Gamespot has a new hands on with Clash of the Ninja, the American dubbed release of Gekitou Ninja Taisen 1. The article provides what is probably a fair take on this first incarnation, your best bet is probably to save your money for the sequel coming later this year.
