Ninjutsu techniques normally require hand seals of some form. Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi - Sharingan Windmill Triple Blade Character Use: Uchiha Sasuke Rank: C Range: Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Attack Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Uchiha clan. Using the developed vision of the Sharingan eye, the clan member hurls three Windmill Shuriken which have wire attached. While in the air the clan member can manipulate wire to make the blades circle the target, which results in the attached wire binding them. Shicchi Kurenai - Crimson Wetland Character Use: Doki Rank: Unknown Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack, Supplementary Special Note: Anime Only Ninpou: Shicchi Kurenai is a Ninjutsu technique used by Shinobazu member Doki. Doki wields a large mechanical hand on his right arm. Because the hand can rotate, it can be used as a powerful drill. This drill can be used to cut through nearby earth or those unfortunate enough to be in the way. Shichuuka no Jutsu - Four Pillar Home Technique Character Use: Yamato Rank: - Note: Special Bloodline Technique Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Mokuton • Shichuuka no Jutsu is a unique Ninjutsu technique used by Yamato. Using his ability to utilize Mokuton (wood release) techniques, Yamato will form handseals and cause beams of wood to emerge from the ground. These beams will converge and combine to form a dwelling of his choosing. This dwelling will resemble a normal home, with rooms and doors on the inside. In essence the technique allows Yamato to conjure a home from nothing, and not even have to summon it. Shichuu Shibari - Four Pillar Binding Character Use: Unnamed ANBU Rank: Unknown Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack, Supplementary Raiton • Shichuu Shibari is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Lightning Element. To utilize this technique, the ANBU member will form the needed hand seal. Four large earthen pillars will rise to surround the target summon. Lightning will then be unleashed to stun the target. This will be the second attack in an elemental trio used by the ANBU. First will be Fuuton • Kazekiri to cut and immobilize the target. Then Shichuu Shibari is used. Finally Doton • Otoshi Buta to imprison the summon in a gigantic sealed pot. Shihouhappou Shuriken - All Directions Shuriken Character Use: Uzumaki Naruto Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Attack Shihouhappou Shuriken is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Uzumaki Naruto. After using Tajuu Kage Bunshin to create an enormous amount of clones, the Narutos will surround their target and then launch their shuriken at them. Shikigami no Mai - Paper Style Dancing Character Use: Konan Rank: - Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack, Supplementary Shikigami no Mai is a Ninjutsu technique is used by Akatsuki member Konan. Using her high origami and ninjutsu skills, Konan will turn her body into many sheets of paper. This paper can create feathers for floating. They can then be launched at her target as dagger-like projectiles. She can also form paper spears for attack and turn into butterflies or paper airplanes for quick transport. Shikomi Shindan - Prepared Needle Projectile Character Use: Shizune Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Attack Shikomi Shindan is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the medical ninja Shizune. By pulling on the string in back the needles will be launched at her foe. The needles are dipped in poison to add to their lethality. Shikon no Jutsu - Dead Soul Technique Character Use: Kabuto Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Supplementary Shikon no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that uses a dead body to create the illusion of another living person. The ninja can either animate a normal dead person, or alter the appearance of the dead person to resemble another. To do the second version, the ninja first changes the appearance of the dead body to resemble the person to be portrayed. Then using this jutsu they make the heart beat again, allowing them to control the actions of the dead body. Shikyaku no Jutsu - Four-Legged Technique Character Use: Inuzuka Kiba Rank: D Range: - Type: Supplementary Shikyaku no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Inuzuka clan. After forming the needed hand seals, chakra begins to emit from the body of the clan member and they take on a more canine-like appearance. These body changes give them increased speed and agility. Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu - Double Suicide Decapitation Technique Viz Translation: Earth Style ~ Groundhog Technique Decapitation Character Use: Hatake Kakashi Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Doton • Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will travel through the ground to appear below their target. They will then surprise their target by then pulling them into the ground. Once in the ground their target is thus immobilized. Shinranbanshou Douka no Jutsu - Assimilate All Creation Technique Character Use: Nagare, Houki Rank: - Range: - Type: Defense Special Note: Anime Only Shinranbanshou Douka no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique utilized by wandering ninja Nagare. In his travels he has picked up many techniques and made them his own. With this technique, Nagare will form the needed hand seal and then touch a nearby object to take on its properties. For example, if he touched nearby stone, his body will become hard as a rock in whatever desired location. This technique also appears to give Nagare the ability to break his body down into smaller rock pieces and reform himself at will, even after having been blown to bits. Shinranshin no Jutsu - Mind Derangement Technique Character Use: Yamanaka Inoichi, Yamanaka Ino Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Supplementary Note: Secret Clan Technique [Per Manga] Shinranshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which is used to confuse the targets body into attacking a nearby ally. The ninja will form the needed hand seal and then send their spirtual energy of confusion at his opponent. Though the opponent is mentally aware of his action, he is unable to stop his body from carrying out the attack. Shinra Tensei - Divine Judgment Character Use: Pain Rank: - Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack, Defense, Supplementary Shinra Tensei is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Deva Realm Pain. This ability allows Pain to manipulate external objects through an invisible force that emanates from the center of his body. This force allows Deva to repel objects or elemental ninjutsu and deflect any attacks that are launched against him. The force requires a short interval to recharge. Deva Pain is also able to utilize a large-scale version of the technique, in exchange for a portion of the life force of his original body, that of Nagato. Nagato will drop control of all other bodies except for Deva. Deva will launch himself above his target area and hover using the gravity manipulation ability of the jutsu. Upon activation, the large-scale version is capable of obliterating large villages. Shintenshin no Jutsu - Mind Body Change Technique Character Use: Yamanaka Ino Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Supplementary Note: Secret Clan Technique [Per Manga] Shintenshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique originally used for spying. The ninja forms the needed handseals and then projects their spirit out of their body into their target. This can be another ninja or an animal. Unfortunately the spirit flies in a straight line at a slow speed. If the target moves and avoids the incoming spirit, the ninjas body falls lifeless until the spirit can find its way back to the body several minutes later. Because of the risk involved, the ninja must be very careful. When used in conjunction with a binding technique the chance of success greatly increases. While inhabiting the body of their opponent, the target still remains in their mind but their mental processes are forced aside as the ninja takes control. However if the target has strong mental fortitude, they can overpower the intruder and force them out of their body. Also while in the body of their target, if the ninja takes sudden physical damage, their original body will be hurt as well. Shirahigi • Jikki Chikamatsu no Shuu - White Secret Technique • Ten Puppet Collection of Chikamatsu Character Use: Chiyo Rank: S Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack, Defense, Supplementary Fun Fact: Chikamatsu Monzaemon was a legendary Japanese puppet dramatist. Shirahigi • Jikki Chikamatsu no Shuu is a Ninjutsu technique used by puppet master Chiyo that is said to have leveled a fortress. It is said to be her ultimate technique. With this technique, Chiyo will summon ten puppets. She will manipulate one puppet with one of her fingers, so ten fingers allow her to maneuver ten puppets. These puppets were made by the first Kugutsu no Jutsu user, Chikamatsu Monzaemon. These puppets can be used to initiate techniques in their own right, such as the Sanbou Kyuukai combination, chain attack combos and hidden weapon emplacements. Shisha Kuu'utsu - Deceased Consumed Spirit Character Use: Orochimaru Rank: Unknown Range: - Type: Supplementary Special Note: Anime Only Shisha Kuu'utsu is a Ninjutsu technique which brings life back to the lifeless. Orochimaru uses the technique to combine the corpses of the deceased into a beast-like incarnation. This beast is able to use the techniques the included corpse once did. If the portion of the body where a corpse is located is damaged, the corpse will melt off from the main host body. However this will not kill this corpse, merely remove it for the moment. Such a move can also cause the original host body to retrieve its pre-jutsu memory and not make it a mindless killing machine. The included corpses can exert their will once again however, and make the beast mind return. Unfortunately once joined with the fellow corpses, the person is damned to never return to a normal life and walk among the living again. Shishi Enjin - Four Violet Flames Battle Formation Character Use: Jiroubou, Kidoumaru, Sakon, Tayuya Rank: B Range: Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Supplementary Shishi Enjin is a Ninjutsu field creation technique utilized by the Sound Four. After surrounding their target, the four barrier specialists will create a rectangular box made of violet flames. Once created, no ninja will be able to penetrate the barrier without being harmed by the walls of flame. The only way to destroy the barrier is by disrupting the field from the inside. To protect themselves while they are in the box, the Sound Four will create another wall near them to completely enclose their body. This allows their opponent and another ally to fight, while they can remain unharmed. Shousen Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique Character Use: Yakushi Kabuto, Shizune, Tsunade, Haruno Sakura, Yamanaka Ino Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Shousen Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands. If the ninja is highly skilled, they are able to heal more critical injuries. Highly skilled medical-Nins such as Tsunade can use their techniques to perform surgeries that otherwise would not be possible. Shoushagan no Jutsu - Vanishing Facial Copy Technique Character Use: Orochimaru Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Shoushagan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used for spying. A dark technique, the jutsu involves the removal of the face of the person to be impersonated. By wearing their face and clothing, the ninja can impersonate the original without others being aware. Shouten no Jutsu - Shape Changing Technique Character Use: Pain Rank: - Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Supplementary Shouten no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by Pain. This technique will allow a person to sacrifice their body so it can take on the almost real form of another. This technique is like Edo Tensei, but it allows for a live ninja to inhabit the body of another. Also unlike Henge which is just an appearance transformation for a ninja, this technique will allow the sacrifice to play the host for a virtual copy of another ninja. The other ninja will totally control the sacrifice and donate a portion of their own chakra to the sacrifice to provide it chakra. While the ninja acts in the sacrifice body, it can perform most all techniques it normally does except for bloodline techniques. This is because the techniques are limited to however much chakra the ninja has donated. Once the chakra runs out and the sacrifical body dies, the shape change will end and the lifeless body of the sacrifice will be revealed.
